Music should be free!
Quite a statement... but one that the majority of people now think of as fact. Most people will go on to the internet now to check out the music makers... listen to their music... have a look at their pictures... find out a bit more about them... before even considering spending any money on them... and this is good for artists... it means more exposure... it means more hits on their site... showing them support... giving feedback... encouraging them... and yet record company and government response is... to worry about loss of profits.
Musicians create music because it's what they need to do... and if you like it enough to include it in your life's soundtrack... then wow!
